Getting onto IJ

Is anyone else here having trouble getting onto IJ?!?!?!?!?
I have been trying for an hour, it won't load for me and before when I could actually get on, all my banners and backgrounds from my journal were gone.
It is driving me insane,(pardon the pun) I have 5 chapters of a drabble to post!

EDITED to say: It seems to be okay now, must have been gremlins at work!

Yep, IJ was down last night. You might find the following link useful the next time IJ is experiencing problems: http://twitter.com/insanejournal. It's an off-IJ place where you can find updates on the status of the site -- so if there's something wrong, it will be posted there.

Incidentally, there's a similar site for LJ, if you ever need that: http://status.livejournal.org/. I have both of these bookmarked just in case either site has problems.

Thanks so much for those links, I have bookmarked them as well..It was driving me nuts not being able to get on and post anything....
