I am exceedingly stupid with graphics and LJ/IJ customizations, so I'm not sure -- can I use it as my journal header if I'm only a basic user? And if so, how do I do that? If not, no worries, I will put it in my profile on both journals!

As far as I know you have to have a paid account to be able to use headers and backgrounds.
