Alright, because I was just wondering...how did you get the erasure around the pompom to be so accurate? Usually I manually erase things, but sometimes that doesn't work out. The magnetic lasso tool is also irritatingly innacurate for little details like that.

I just saw how awesome it was and decided to ask.

Thank you! I would have used the erasure, its the only thing I ever use, I think it took me a long time as well, but I adore that pic and wanted to make something with it.

I found a tutorial for cutting out images and preserving the fine details. It uses levels. It's never worked for me, which is actually pretty frustrating, since I'm so irritated with having messy cutouts. Oh well.

I would like to get more adventuresome with PS but I go back to my old ways always. I'm sure there are easier ways to do things, I just haven't found them yet!
I spend wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many hours just making one icon its actually ridiculous!
