Pissed Off

Ok, so it's the afternoon before Christmas day. I sent husband and son to the movies to get them out from under my feet.
I have Bon Jovi blasting out "Always" on the stereo, the vacumn is working to its capacity, I have food cooking and I'm even managing to answer Christmas emails, you know, multi-tasking, that we women are so good at and BOOM...the FUCKING POWER GOES OFF!!!!
Ok, I think, they will fix it soon, because, you know, its the DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS, I have a fridge full of food, cleaning to do, cooking to do, not to mention my best friend is coming for dinner. But like it will worry him, he's like Em (my QAF friends will know what I mean)..his words will be...don't worry sweetie, here have a glass of wine!...yeah right...
so it's 35 (98)deg, no air con, no nothing and finally 3 HOURS and 20 MINUTES later the power comes on.
Am I happy now, no, because now I will be up till midnight, doing everything I lost in those 3 hours 20 minutes.
This is summer is Perth, pole top fires which cause power cuts.....and I thought I loved summer....
