I agree the steroid storyline is a very hard one to watch, I wanted to slap Ben for the way he treated Michael during that time, but I was also unhappy about how quickly it was over, as in "I've stopped using them" and everything was ok. That didn't ring true with me hence my doing my own take on it. I wasn't sure about Brian either, and I'm sure other Brian fans will probably agree with what you said. I am no expert on him but just wrote how I thought he would handle it but if his concern/protectiveness for Michael came through I am pleased about that.
